Estimator

Established construction company and robotics integrator seeks highly motivated, multi-disciplined, hands-on Construction Sales Manager for the West Coast. The position will be based in the California Central Valley and will require travel throughout the West Coast though the initial focus will be in California for territory development. With over 30 years of experience, we have assembled a team of top technicians in the trades we specialize in. Being signatory to three trades as well as being skilled in both engineering design and electrical controls offers us a wide range of capabilities. We are problem solvers and pride ourselves on customer satisfaction. We can accommodate 24/7 support handling minor emergency projects all the way up to $5-10 million plus projects. The Job:

Our family like company, located in the California Central Valley, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Contracting Estimator interested in working part time with flexible hours, or full time. Estimating work includes piping, sheet metal including ducking, equipment relocation and setting, and structural steel fabrication and erection. Position available immediately for the right candidate, and if full time, will include fully paid family benefits and 401K. Education, Skills, and Requirements:

  • 5+ years estimating experience in the construction industry with preference given to candidates with mechanical contracting background.
  • Experience with piping, machinery and structural estimating a big plus.
  • Abilitity to read detailed and complex AutoCAD/blue prints for take offs and cost estimating.
  • Basic understanding of controls and electrical design drawings.
  • Must be familiar with general building codes.
  • Excellent writing skills to proposal generation.
  • This is a fast paced job where there is always a new challenge, but where multi-tasking skills are a must.
